You have protected, acquired and built your wealth – but are you comfortable with someday transferring it to your kids? Do they know enough about Wealth Management to handle that transfer?  Are they educated with investment strategies, financial planning and all the tax implications that may follow?   Do they understand the basic and fundamental concepts of Accounting and why it is important?  Most people would respond no.

As the academic year winds down, take an opportunity to encourage younger colleagues or young adult family members to get a “Financial Life Education” through our WealthEdge website.

Most of the younger generations categorically lack the financial education necessary to make smart wealth management decisions. Time and again, we have been told by our clients, both young and old, that they wish they had learned more about financial subjects in High School or in College. These topics aren’t taught as a general education, and yet they are a NECESSARY component to understanding the key ways to protect, grow and transfer your wealth.

We, at WealthEdge, pride ourselves with building strong relationships, based on a mutual respect and trust. But, as anyone will tell you, trust is VERY different from blind faith.  We want all of our clients to be as educated as possible with their overall Wealth Management.  Educated clients help us to begin a dialog where we can understand where you are with your financial life, where you are going and what your overall financial goals are to get you there.

We are excited to launch a new campaign, in the coming weeks, which will focus on Financial Life Education. It is geared with younger adults and professionals in mind, but the information provided is for everyone.  We will try to tackle the financial topics that are necessary for protecting wealth, building wealth and transferring wealth – minimizing the jargon usually associated with financial professionals.  Our goal is to educate and enlighten a generation of young professionals to understand that being in control of your wealth management is an excellent path to financial security.

We will have on-going, timely write-ups that will educate anyone on the topics that are necessary to fully understand the importance of everyday financial knowledge. Some topics will include: the importance of accounting, budgeting, understanding of debt and credit, the importance of using credit wisely, investment terms, etc.  We hope to provide a one-stop location to answer some of your financial questions and give you an overall education on pertinent financial topics.  We look forward to having you utilize this new section of our website as an informative and valuable resource.
